During the Stockholm Furniture Fair Karlsson & Björk will exhibit a new collection of furniture based around the Hella concept. The furniture can be seen at the Check In! exhibition at Hotel Birger Jarl.

Edbald-Wells stipendiefond på Konstakademien har beslutat tilldela Erik Björk och Mattias Karlsson 60´000kr till en studieresa till Japan med följande motivering:

"Erik Björk och Mattias Karlsson, båda utbildade vid Malmstens Verkstadskola, ges härigenom möjlighet att i Japan studera japansk tradition och hantverk, till inspiration för deras utveckling som trähantverkare och formgivare".

Stol 44 easy, DIYWBC och Majoren kommer ingå som en del av utställningen Viva el Verde under Hem 2008 på Stockholmsmässan 9-12 oktober..

Chair 44 by Mattias Karlsson and Erik Björk wins bronze leaf in the IFDA competition.

Out of 1058 entries from all over the world the Chair 44 was given bronze leaf in the competition as well as a price check of 300`000 Yen. The chair will be exhibited on the International Furniture Fair in Asahikawa and later this year in Tokyo.
